Daniel Brown is a leading practitioner in the fields of interactive and digital media. Having worked at the pioneering 'Learning Methods Unit' at the Liverpool John Moores University, he was involved in the design of some of the most highly regarded interactive CD-ROMs published in Britain. From there, Brown joined 'Amaze Limited", a commercial off-shoot of the unit, helping set up the company's research department, to look into interfaces and the future use of technology. Since then, Brown has melded this commercially based background with his passion for aesthetics and art to produce work that is both technologically advanced and creatively inspired. Brown is best known for his personal websites, www.noodlebox.com and www.play-create.com but has achieved notoriety also by being chosen by Internet Business Magazine as one of the top ten Internet designers. He was one of Creative Review's 'Creative Futures of the New Millennium', represented the best of British design as one of the exhibitors in the Design Council's 'Great Expectations' show in New York, and was one of the artists showcased in the London Design Museum's 'Web Wizards' exhibition (2001-2002).
