Franko B is a performance artist and painter, whose practice has also incorporated video, photography, installation, sculpture, and mixed media. Born in Milan, Italy, in 1960, he studied Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art, 1987-1990, and at Camberwell College of Arts 1986- 1987. Franko B is currently supported by BOW ARTS Trust.
Franko B has performed at prestigious art venues: Tate Modern, ICA, South London Gallery and Beaconsfield. He has exhibited internationally in: Zagreb; Mexico City; Milan: Amsterdam: Antwerp: Copenhagen: Madrid: Vienna: Tate Liverpool: and most recently at the Palais des Beaux-Arts, Brussels, Belgium; and the Crawford Municipal Gallery, Cork, Ireland.
Franko B lectures widely at renowned arts institutions: St. Martin's School of Art, DasArt, New York University, Accademia di Belle Arti, and the Courtauld Institute.
