Heather Sproat is a London based designer and lecturer. Sproat graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1993 after completing the BA womenswer course. Awarded the Royal Warrant Holders' Queen Elizabeth scholarship in 1997, Sproat spent a year studyign haute couture tailoring techniques as an observatrice at the Christian Dior Haute Couture atelier in Paris.
In 1998 Sproat was appointed as a designer at Louis Vuitton Malletier. She became an associate lecturer on womenswear at Central Saint Martins and since 2007 has been a senior lecturer on the Fashion Designer course.
Sproat has worked on various projects with Tanner Krolle, Richemont and Shainghai Tang and is also creative director for knitwear brand Woodchild.
