Known primarily for his use of Polaroid photographs, Jeremy Kost has rebelled against the surge in digital photography and creates original, spontaneous images, predominately of celebrity faces. Exhibiting at the Andy Warhol Museum in 2011, Kost has been inspired by New York’s East Village and the Lower East Side. The documentation of the extravagant lives of club kids, glamorous drag queens and handsome male models is frequently seen in the Polaroids that are often positioned together en masse to create an entire photograph.
