Jeremy Scott is an American fashion designer. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Scott studied fashion design at the Pratt Institute before setting up his fashion label in Paris in 1997. He later relocated to New York in the Autumn/Winter 2002 season. Due to his pop and low culture references, Scott has been dubbed the Jeff Koons of fashion.
He won the Venus de la Mode Award for Best New Designer in 1996 and 1997 and his designs have appeared in publications such as i-D, Dazed & Confused and Nylon. Celebrity clients include Madonna, Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne.
Scott launched his footwear and apparel collaboration with Adidas entitled Jeremy Scott for Adidas in 2008. Alongside designing, he has photographed covers for magazines like Paper and also appeared in Larry Clark's 2005 film, Wassup Rockers.
