Kanghyuk is a South Korean fashion brand, founded by RCA graduates Kanghyuk Choi and Sanglak Shon in 2017.
Kanghyuk Choi is a fashion designer who graduated from the Royal College of Arts with an MA in menswear in 2016. After graduating, he caught the eye of brand development agency D /ARK, with whom he entered into a collaboration with MACHINE-A/SHOWstudio and concept store H. LORENZO. This collaboration saw an exclusive limited edition of his graduate collection pieces released online at SHOWstudio, in MACHINE-A, and with an installation and launch event at H. LORENZO - in partnership with Highsnobiety.
In 2017, Choi and fellow designer Sanglak Shon launched the label Kanghyuk. In 2019, they were nominated for the LVMH Prize.
