Kazuyoshi Minamimagoe is Womenswear Creative Director of the leading retail outlet, BEAMS in Japan. Born in 1962, Minamimagoe began working as a womenswear buyer in chief in 1989, where he became renowned for discovering and introducing new design talent to the Japanese market and was appointed at the BEAMS store in 2004. He also writes for magazines including Soen and WWD, organises events and gives lectures at numerous institutions.
