Keith Tyson, (b.1969) lives and works in Brighton. Tyson was awarded a Doctorate of Letters in 2005 from the University of Brighton and has work in many major international museum collections. Solo exhibitions include the exhibition of the major sculptural work Large Field Array; a multi-faceted sculptural installation which toured from the Louisiana Museum for Modern Art, Denmark, to the De Pont museum of contemporary art, Holland, 2006-07.

This season, Mother of Pearl has chosen to collaborate with Keith Tyson to produce a series of prints, which form the foundations of their collection. Tyson’s work spans over a diverse range of styles and is inspired by the human condition, space and science, psychological issues and probability. He has created some of the modern art world’s most iconic images, such as his series Drawing & Thinking, which led to him winning the Turner Prize in 2002.
