Driven by finding new ways of connecting people on the streets and around the world, Kensui Arao was Senior Creative Director from 2000-2002 at Saatchi and Saatchi Tokyo, 2002-2004 at TBWA\Tokyo, Executive Creative Director at EURO RSCG Japan, most recently at Publicis Tokyo, and is now freelance creative director/film director at studio D.O.G. inc. since May 2009.  He has been involved in innovative projects for a wide range of clients including Air France, Emirates, adidas, Nike, Intel, GUINNESS, Renault, Toyota, Lancome, shu uemura, Pedigree and Kal Kan.  

Renown as out-of-box thinker, Arao has set a new standard of outdoor advertising in Japan demonstrated by a series of guerrilla advertising pieces for the adidas 2002  World Cup campaign in Tokyo.  In 2006, an integrated campaign for BEAMS 30th anniversary including the TOKYO STYLE CLASH/HOT OR NOT event in collaboration with SHOWstudio won the Bronze Medal at the CLIO Innovative Media Awards, Gold at the Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia and was a Cannes Media Lions Finalist. through which he’s showed an unexpected new way of connecting people on the streets and people around the world.
