Louis de Gama is a Portuguese fashion designer based in London since 1992. After studying garment technology, de Gama followed the Fashion Design course at the University of Westminste, also working with designer Tristan Webber and at Salvatore where he learnt bespoke tailoring. In 2002, de Gama founded his own eponymous label and launched the first collection at London Fashion Week, bought in its entirety by Browns Focus. De Gama's designs are defined by a confident femininity and an eclectic use of materials such as leather with silk chiffons and embroidery.
