Luci Schroder

Film Director

Studying textile design, fine arts and later film and photography, film director Luci Schroder was educated at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University and then at Deakin University, Australia. Currently based in Melbourne, her film narratives often couple subconscious desire with rich visual imagery. Schroder looks through a cultural lens to transform everyday subjects into representations of surrealism and lust. Her music video for Alpine explores the sexual curiosity of teenage girls, showing how emotions such as longing and desire can translate into ritualistic animalism.
