Matthew Gode

Choreographer

Matthew Gode is a choreographer and stylist based in Sydney, Australia. Gode cites fashion and visual art as key inspirations behind his abstract choreography, and has become known for his unique pop dance style. Gode has choreographed for television, corporate functions, charity events, music videos and live performances for Australian artists, both nationally and internationally.

Gode’s choreography has been featured in Sydney photographer Byron Spencer’s You artist exhibition held in Leonard Mattis Studio in 2015, rock photographer Tony Mott's book launch in 2015 and OingoBoingo, a gallery installation co-created with friend Patric Kuo, held in DNA Projects Gallery in 2013. He has taught workshops throughout Australia and won several leading awards for his choreography in competitions. Gode has worked with artists Tkay Maidza and Heart People.
