Neil Libbert is a photojournalist. He studied at the Reigional College of Art in Manchester before moving to work as a photographer.
He was worked for the Manchester Guardian, The Sunday Times, The New York Times, Granada TV and Illustrated London News and also as a freelance photographer.
His work has been exhibited at the likes of The National Theatre, the Camden Arts Centre, the Whitechapel Gallery, the Micheal Hoppen Gallery among many others.
in 1999 he won Nikon News Photographer of the Year, he is also noted for his reportage of the 1981 Brixton Riots.
