Olu Odukoya

Art Director

Olu Odukoya is an artist and art director, specialising in bespoke creative projects in the worlds of both contemporary art and luxury fashion. He is the founder of the international creative agency OMO, Inc. Odukoya's previous projects include the large-format art magazine Kilimanjaro, art direction for Yves Saint Laurent alongside Stefano Pilati, and the creative director of the re-launch of POP magazine in 2005.

He is the publisher of the luxury biannual bookzine Modern Matter, which combines high-quality print production and design with the hypermodernity of an online aesthetic, and works with regular contributors and collaborators including Hans Ulrich Obrist, and Juergen Teller. Selected projects include two special-edition publications for Hauser and Wirth; a series of books with the artist Oscar Murillo, including with David Zwirner Books; a major retrospective publication with Sarah Lucas and Sadie Coles Gallery; and a book with the award-winning artist Isaac Julien inspired by his Looking For Langston project, published in association with Victoria Miro.

Working with Demna Gvasalia, Olu Odukoya also provided art direction for Balenciaga's A/W 17 campaign, including the direction of a short fashion film inspired by the idea of the Duchampian readymade, Revolving Doors.
