Paul Herron is a Back End Developer at SHOWstudio, building web applications to power its online activities. Whilst studying on the BA Multimedia course at Nottingham Trent University, Herron was involved in the creation of a range of digital media, including web development, video production and 3-D animation. He graduated a valedictorian, gaining a First Class Honours degree.

He then worked in London for a year, both freelance and as a PHP Developer for Abraxor, with whom he was able to build applications for organisations such as the World Gold Council. Herron went onto study at the University of Edinburgh, gaining a scholarship for the MSc Design and Digital Media course. There, he focused on web development once again, building for his final project a large social networking website with the PHP development framework, CakePHP. He graduated with a distinction and was awarded the Aart Bijl Student Prize for outstanding leadership in the learning and welfare of the student body. Having since returned to London, Paul has worked for Moonrocket Interactive, helping to produce software for companies like Turner Commercial Productions, LG and Pret A Manger.
