Philip Sheppard is a composer specialising in film and television soundtracks, as well as large scale theatre and events. A former professor at the Royal Acdemy of Music in London, Sheppard was commissioned to compose and produce the music for the London 2012 handover sequence at the beijing Olympic Games in 2008 which includined a reworking of the British national anthem a new version of led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love and performance by the London Symphony Orchestra.

Sheppard's film work includes titles In The Shadow Of The Moon, winner of the World Documentary Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and Sergio which was shortlisted for an Academy Award. His stage work includes Sacred Monsters for Sylvie Guillem and In-I starring Juliette Binoche.

Philip has worked as a guest artist with numerous artists such as Scott Walker, Jeff Buckley and Jarvis Cocker and regularly writes and plays with genre-bending British musical outfit U.N.K.L.E.
