Ronan Mckenzie is a freelance photographer and stylist from Walthamstow, North East London. She is represented by Cadence Image and is the founder of the magazine HARD EARS.
Alongside working in retail, she completed a foundation course in fashion and textiles. Mckenzie then enrolled in Central Saint Martins for Fashion Communication and Promotion but dropped out two weeks into the course to focus on styling, gradually moving to photography.
Mckenzie's clients include i-D, Wonderland, Vogue US, LAW, Jalouse, Base Range, Marques'Almeida and American Apparel. In December 2015, she curated 'A Black Body' exhibition at Doomed Gallery in Dalston, which aimed to normalise the black body and challenge the overt sexualisation that often accompanies it in mainstream media. Mckenzie also worked on Bleeding London Project for The Royal Photographic Society.
