Scott King born in Goole, Yorkshire, in 1969, is a contemporary artist, represented by Herald Street Gallery. King trained in graphic design, studying at Hull University. He worked as Art Director of i-D magazine and went on to become Creative Director of Sleazenation, for which he was awarded 'Best Cover' and 'Best Designed Feature of the Year' prizes. King is one half of Crash!, which he works on with writer Matt Worley.

Since leaving magazine creative direction, he is concentrating principally on gallery projects, and has exhibited widely in London and the rest of Europe, at galleries including: the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the ICA; KW Berlin; and Kunstverein Munich.

Exhibitions include: 'Herald Street', White Columns, New York, 2005; 'Publish and be Damned', Cubitt Gallery, 2004; 'Scott King', Millers Terrace, 2004; and 'Frankfurt', curated by Wolfgang Tillmans, Portikus, 2004.

Scott King lives and works in London.
