Sharmadean Reid is a creative consultant, stylist and the founder of WAH Nails.
Having graduated from Central St Martins in 2007 with first class honours in fashion communication, Reid began styling for i-D, Qvest and Neo. Working next as a sportswear editor at Arena Homme +, she gained clients such as Nike, Levis and Rayban. Reid has styled shoots with Danielle Levitt, Ewen Spencer, Kenneth Capello and Nan Goldin.
In 2005 Reid launched the fanzine WAH to promote females in the creative industries. The success of the zine, led to the 2009 launch of the Dalston salon and creative space WAH Nails. From jumble sales to art shows, the WAH Nails events series paved the way for Reid’s brand to get involved with London Fashion Week parties and shows for brands including Nike, Marc Jacobs and Diesel.
Reid continues to work as a trend consultant alongside her WAH Nails efforts. She was featured in Vogue's ‘New Generation' feature and named one of the ‘15 people who will define the future of arts in Britain” by The Independent.
