Originally from Tokyo, Japan, Sk8thing is a fashion designer and co-founder, alongside Toby Feltwell, of Cav Empt. He is the lead designer of streetwear brand A Bathing Ape (Bape), and also designs for Pharrell's Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream lines, Neighborhood, W-Taps, undercover, Bounty Hunter, and T-19. In 2011 he founded Cav Empt (C.E) with Toby Feltwell. Sk8thing is known for his mysterious public persona, and understanding of building brands with an exclusive appeal.
