British-Indian designer Supriya Lele founded her eponymous brand following the completion of her Master's degree from the Royal College of Art in 2016. Recurrent themes in her work are the female form and a dialogue between her British identity and Indian cultural heritage. Lele made her London Fashion Week debut as a part of the Fashion East show for Autumn/Winter 2017, and her first Spring/Summer 2019 season was shown under the British Fashion Council's NewGen sponsorship.

Her clothes have been featured in publications such as British Vogue, Vogue Runway, Vogue Italia, Vogue India, the New York Times, i-D, and Dazed & Confused

She was a finalist and joint recipient of the 2020 LMVH prize.
