Terence Koh is a Chinese-Canadian artist working in numerous non-conventional, hand-crafted media as well as more traditional ones. Koh’s art is often controversial because it uses queer, punk, pornographic and other typically taboo themes. His work has been reviewed in numerous publications including Flash Art, Art Review, ArtForum, Frieze, the New York Times, the LA Times, artUS, i-D, 032c, Metropolis El Mundo and was shortlisted for the Sobey Art Award in 2008. Koh has a Bachelor’s degree from Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design. Originally working under the alias asianpunkboy, Koh designed zines and custom-made books.
