El Delgado Buil is the creative partnership between designers Anna Figuera Delgado and Macarena Ramos Buil. The label was formed in 2004 and shows at Barcelona Fashion Week. El Delgado Buil’s garments make references to elements of iconic American culture such as the 1950s and road movies. Both designers find inspiration from diverse mediums, from the photography of Nacho Alegrel, Juergen Teller, and Diane Arbus, to the aesthetic conceptions of John Waters or Miranda July as well as the Ramones and The Clash. In 2006 they set up their shop in Barcelona, where they have their studio and showroom, the shop, 'Cuatroseis', was founded in partnership with Flora and Lawhite. Their A/W 2007 collection, entitled 'My family goes to Oklahoma', won the L’Oréal prize for best collection by new designers.
