Now the economy in the West is slowly picking up, do we want to see from now on the system of fashion, fashion production and manufacturing to continue the way it's been for the last 50 years or do you hope to see the fashion system start to change to move with the age of conservation, renewable, recycle?

The word recession always tends to affect the economy. But fashion has many trends to transform to another forms. Recession never affect fashion but to fashion Industries.

As you have all ready pointed out it makes re-cycling and charity shops a lot more popular. It great to see how people are experimenting and mixing like never before both guys and girls

do you really think fashion hasn't fundamentally changed since 1959? I think it's changed enormously in the last five years alone, let alone the last 50.

We are not out of the woods yet ... the ' clever men' playing monopoly with our money still haven't realised yet how long term damaging their GREED has been, is and can still be ... business for them is 'business as usual' with the compliments of our own RULERS ... Just To be on the safe side I think we should perhaps save some money the old fashion way ... safely hidden in an old sock ... there is a public secret that in two years time the crisis will come back to revisit us because nothing has essentially changed ... but by then there will not be enough money to bail the big banks out ... with all the disastrous consequences for everyone ... except perhaps for those with their safe_money_sock under the floor boards :)

Just imagine a world where you cannot longer get money out of the cash machines to cover your absolutely essential everyday expenses, a case of a financial APOCALYPSE? Let's hope NOT! ... but then again nothing is 100% sure!
