It exceeded my expectation, and my imagination, they had put on a great show. Politics aside, even for non Chinese, that was a very moving ceremony, if one knows the history of China in the past 150 years. They had put on this show not just to welcome internation guests, but for their own people as well. It's bitter sweet.

I'm really sad that the Olympics came and went so fast... I thought they did an amazing job with the ceremonies and the whole Olympic Village... truly amazing! Can't wait for the 2012 games!
