Creative director of British Vogue Robin Derrick chooses to direct the focus of his Political Fashion film at the brands of fashion. Quoting directly from Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’, By Any Other Name examines the mythic and continuing power of the ‘name’ in fashion.

'By Any Other Name examines the mythic and continuing power of the 'name' in fashion. ' ......a very interesting and accurate observation that deserves
all our attention
...
Sweets aren't good for obvious reasons .... and yet to tempting and irresistible to the palate more often than not for ones own good ...:) !

Ironically poetic .... dreamlike certainly ... and yet somehow with a quality of being wonderfully mischievous ... just like a rose and its thorns ... that's certainly FASHION !

I would love to hear what Robin Derrick thinks he is saying with this short film.
I thought it was delicately and sensitively approached and a man in his position that works closely with a lot of the names in his film must have to be delicate about wht he is saying . However I feel the message is a little too veiled.
