The collection was quit inspiring. It gave me something to look forward to for the fall season. The different colored leggings were genious. we saw black, purple, cream, orange, red and pink leggings, which added just the right amount of color to his collection. I loved the tailored dresses and mini skirts matched with the "to the toe" leggings, which added a little edge factor. It was most interesting the way he added so much detail and emphasis to his his blouses and skirts. I loved the way he added beads or studs to his skirts, which made them look feminine and classic. Zac Posen added the most popular trends this season to his collection, such as ruffles, bow ties, and studs. It was amazing to see the way he worked with so many fabrics and textures. Each piece of his collection has a feminine and classic touch. It was interesting the way he made a tailored mens suit look sexy on a women. The main color pallete in his collection consisted of a sheer beige with black trimmings or black detail, which i found most intriging. I also enjoyed how Zac posen paired his tailored looks with long beaded layered necklaces, which gave the look a more classic touch. I love Zac posen's addition of these full volume dresses that flare out at the skirt. The detailing and texture of the ruffles and sheer fabrics reminds me of the dresses women wore decades ago in England. The all black outfits were so sophisitcated and sleek, especially with the touch of a red lipstick. Overall, Zac Posens colllection is inspiring and innovative. Zac definently contributed to a wonderful fall collection.

I really liked zac Posen’s new fashion fall line for his ready to wear collection. I thought it was very clean, simple, fresh and extordinary. Many of the outfits I thought were just wonderful and that they would go well with fall since Halloween is just around the corner and many of the outfits are black, red and other dark colors that will go well for a Halloween party. It is also flashy since some of the outfits have a shimmering look to them. One of the outfits that caught my attention was one that gave a sense that it could resemble a 1920’s cocktail dress. It has a shiny black material and with what looks like it could be a black vest with a tie, and red in between. This could not only pass for a man suit inspired cocktail dress but also as a mouse costume with you just add a pair of ears at the top. Another outfit that I also liked was a simple black dress with soft ruffles at the ends of the shoulders. Of courser this outfit also stands out with a pair of black nylons, just how the model, Anabela Belikevoa, demonstrated on the runway. It looked very simple and classy like the little black dress that every girl should have in their closet. Although black and red were not the only colors to be used in Zac Posen’s collection, but also other colors such as pink, yellow gold, and a hint of purple. One of the most beautiful colors that really stood out was pink. A dress wore by model Meghan Collison really stood out. It was such a hit that Megan Fox, star of the movie transformers recently wore this dress right off the runway. Overall I thought that Zac Posen can do no wrong for this fall’s collection.

On the whole I'm not so impressed by Mr. Posen- it's a bit too precious, too doll-like. Where are the clothes for real women, who don't live in spangles and eveningwear?

And then there's the ensemble he and his date wore to the Met recently, with the big yellow dress and the blue superman tux... the thought of it makes me shudder.

Some ' kryptonite ' was surely hidden in someone's pocket that evening and to close for comfort ...:):)... that surely must explain why the proportions of the dress didn't really work in her total favour .... mind you he was certainly the star of the night ... and not Lois Lane ... sadly .. .. :)
