Fabulous issue. IT's got an article on The original supermodels, and one piece on Paul Newman, and one on Zimbawa. OF course a piece on Carla.

The new Vanity Fair September issue has a lot to offer this month. From Beijing, China’s new make over for the Olympics. For example they have displayed new policies on how to behave in the terminals. For one, do not shove strangers from behind when boarding the airplane. Also there is no spiting on the floor, or climbing over your neighbor’s lap to take your seat, or stand up and start pushing for the exit immediately after the airplane has landed. Well this is just a bit of the information that the article has to offer. The magazine also has other interesting articles such as the international best dressed list. Some of the celebrities to make the list this year are Sarah Jessica Parker, Christy Turlington Burns, Karl Lagerfeld, and Daniel Craig. Of course my two personal favorites Victoria and David Beckham and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Last but not least, this issues cover girl, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, also made the list. But moving on further, the magazine also features an article with the new first lady of France, Carla Bruni-sarkozy. In the article she talks about how she was born in Italy but had to move to France with her family when wealthy families were being kidnapped.although she still continued her studies in Italian and learn many other languages along the way. She then went on to become a model when a friend gave her the push she needed to go out there and make a name for herself. The rest is history, as you go on further in the article you will find out that she is a polite well educated person who has an amazing life. Not just for being a model and the new first lady but for being an independent women and making choices for herself. Designers love working with her, she is still good friends with her ex boyfriends and with their new wives. And so will France as their new first lady.

What I love about Europeans when it comes to their attitudes with politicians is that they are not bothered by their personal romantic lives. In the US, no way a president, or any politicians, could dream of marrying a model with a child out of wed lock, and smokes in public, and had taken tastefully nude photos. The French don't give a damn, they quite like Carla, she has style, beautiful, very flirtatious, and speaks many languages. The US politicians couldn't even dream of dating a woman like that, they could be crucified by the media.

Great and very subtle humour ! ... and I must say ... the tour you just took us through is ... how can i say it ? ... ' you made it really worthwhile reading all the way ! and I really enjoyed the list ! These are the moments when I can kick my head against the wall for having forgotten to buy the issue ! ... by the way I loved the following ....

I think Carla knows what it is to be Lady No. 1 ! ... at least in France ! .....LOL! ... Maria Antoniette must be feeling full of envy and rather
bewildered asking herself what has Carla got that I didn't have ??? ... ! Well dear Antoinette ... Carla has what we call ... 'style ' , survival instinct, modesty and at least a less conspicuous hair style and not to mention a good head on her shoulders !!! ... and not to forget those life saving designers to guide you through the perils of the ' fashion-guillotine' ... and last but not least she hasn't the disadvantage of being a descendant of the Grand Duke of Tuscany ! :):)
