I think deep down I feel the most passionate about photography, aside from drawing the female figures. I took some photos on my travel recently, a day trip at the conservation area along the San Pedro River in Southern Arizona. The camera was a Cannon Power Shot A590, I turned the switch to manual, kept the shutter speed fast and aperture tiny, because there was so much light in the open area, as I wanted to capture the colors I saw with my eyes. I did almost no photoshop to the photos just adjusted the brightness a bit to bring out more colors.

Autumn is a great time to take a walk through woods with rivers. Looking at the bronze and verious shades of brown to black reflecting of the water an in the woods. It very poetic.

Regarding retouching-the interesting thing with digital manipulation used in fashion photography(or images) is that it doesn't diminish the joy of photography for photographers. The fundamentals still apply in every photoshoot. It takes point of view of an artist to create compelling fashion photographs/images.
