Design Intern
Job Description
Working closely with SHOWstudio production staff, the design intern will be involved in designing and creating assets for our brand new website, email newsletters, films and the occasional print project. This role best suits an enthusiastic student or graduate from a creative graphics or photography-related degree.
In addition to creating assets for the studio, the design intern will also spend part of their time whipping our social streams, such as Twitter and Facebook, into shape and exploring new ways to leverage their potential.
We require applicants to possess a strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, and the Mac OSX platform. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign for print projects, social media marketing and light HTML skills desirable.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently on a variety of tasks are also essential. The work at the studio can be varied and requires a flexible person.
As well as general 'running' tasks expected in any busy design studio, interns often have the unique opportunity to participate behind-the-scenes at photo shoots and live performances with some of the world’s leading fashion and music creatives.
Ideally, interns work full time for a period of 6 – 12 weeks, although part-time positions will be considered. SHOWstudio can cover lunch and travel costs (within central London).
