Gareth Pugh
The sixth installation of our prestigious downloadable pattern series, Gareth Pugh has contributed the template for the trademark inflatable balloons first featured in his Central Saint Martins graduation collection. The bold beach-ball fabric balloons are, like much of Pugh’s designs, inspired by graphic shape and dramatic proportion, walking a fine line between outré fashion statement and sartorial performance art.

Instructions
- Download 1 of the 7 design_download patterns
- Make up the garment using your fabric of choice.
- Style and photograph the garment. Send pictures (no more than 3) along with your name and location to designdownload@showstudio.com. Please send images in '.jpg' format, no larger than 1MB.
Closing date is 31 August 2009
Entries will be judged by a panel of fashion experts including Nick Knight, Alistair O'Neill (Senior Lecturer & Senior Research Fellow of Fashion History and Theory at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design) Penny Martin (Rootstein Hopkins Chair of Fashion Imagery at the London College of Fashion) and Claire Catterall (Curator at Somerset).
Prize
The winning garments will be featured in SHOWstudio: Fashion Revolution at Somerset House 18 September - 20 December 2009.
