Actress and director Asia Argento created this mesmerising series of film shorts exclusively for SHOWstudio over the course of October 2006. The vignettes, drawing on an ad-hoc 'video diary' aesthetic but in fact painstakingly directed, intertwine reality with fantasy thanks to a script devised by Emma Forrest that confuses fiction with reality.

The idea of love, idea of being in love, the ideal love, its all relative. I dont feel you can have an ideal love without the 100% acceptance of the other. i agree with Asia in that the perfect love is one in our minds!! I bartend, and with this I have created a persona of being sexy, funny, strong, and witty. This is my stage, and this works for me working, well, when I "love" women, eventually they feel like I am different in real life than when I am behind the bar. Well, this is the real me, so they try to change me to be the bartender persona 24/7.... I dont want this, so how can they "love" me if they dont accept me both ways?? That is NOT love, its attraction, or whatever, which I feel is not love.........

This is love: Orphee is a poet who becomes obsessed with Death (the Princess). They fall in love. Orphee's wife, Eurydice, is killed by the Princess' henchmen and Orphee goes after her into the Underworld. Although they have become dangerously entangled, the Princess sends Orphee back out of the Underworld, to carry on his life with Eurydice. xx PS- Sunglasses are wonderful.
