SHOWstudio's three-day fashion and music extravaganza Fashion DJs was an unforgettable live spectacle for all involved - not only for the wealth of musical performance, but also the dizzying visual feast. Celebrating and showcasing the latter, the latest addition to our Fashion DJs project is an exhaustive array of images from photographer Clive Booth and set designer Gideon Ponte, captured live on the studio floor during the Fashion DJs broadcast in July 2008. Accompanied by a selection of stills from our Fashion DJs film, chosen by Nick Knight, these galleries - containing almost four hundred exclusive images - serve as fitting document of all the excitement and glamour of this extraordinary and unique live event.

Today marks the launch of our Fashion DJs film, showcasing the live event staged in July 2008 by SHOWstudio in partnership with Swarovski to celebrate the inextricable fusion of musical performance and fashion exhibtionism. With Nick Knight filming proceedings throughout three days of live action, sparkling sets by Gideon Ponte as a stunning backdrop and DJ stints from a wealth of fashion stars including Naomi Campbell, Lily Cole, Stella McCartney, Simon Foxton and Jefferson Hack to name but few, a visual spectacle was guaranteed alongside the musical feast. The final film, edited by Nick Knight and Ruth Hogben from over thirty seven hours of raw footage, breathlessly documents the madcap pace of this truly unique music and fashion extravaganza. From line-dancing with Gareth Pugh, to super stylist Katy England's living, to a true mad hatter's tea-party courtesy of Joe Corré and Agent Provocateur, every magical moment is ready and waiting to be savoured once again, set against a live soundtrack performed by The Wild Beasts and Kap Bambino - just two of the multitude of bands and artists participating in this unforgettable event.

Ever wondered what a 'Glow in the Dark Hoe-Down' looks like?! Here's your answer....

A nearby resident, Vogue's Emma Elwick, popped along to Abbey Road Studio to catch the last few sets of the day. She certainly didn't expect to be asked by fashion designer Gareth Pugh if she would mind joining his gang for his 'Glow in the Dark Ho Down'. The ever-obliging Elwick donned white overalls and joined Pugh's gang to catch the last few minutes of Kap Bambino!

After a highly-charged session courtesy of the Agent Provocateur gang, i-D super-stylist Francesca Burns and photographer Matt Irwin take to the decks for the penultimate slot of the day. They'll be playing a selection of (in Matt's words), "grunge and stuff from the 90s" before they're joined by the French electronic musical duo, Kap Bambino.

Katy England has enlisted a throng of friends to help her celebrate music and fashion, from Mick Jones, Fran Cutler and Stephen Philips from Rellik to Flora Evans of Superfine, Jess Morris and the lovely Kim Sion. As they relax into their playlist, the sound is cranking up and dancing is breaking out all over!

Through Gideon Ponte's ever-changing set, Penny and I caught a glimpse of Katy England's front room, recreated with no expense spared in Studio 1 at Abbey Road. Her hour or so at the mic, titled 'Back to Mine' and with a gaggle of friends to boot, is coming up next!

Patrick Cox has dropped by for this evening's Fashion DJs, with his own very special guest: Caesar, his French Bull Terrier. Intrepid as ever, Ross has already collared the pair for a contribution to our ever-popular POPVOX

The man, the music the legend. You maay have heard Stephen Jones wax lyrical about the boy yesterday and today Sam McKnight pulled out all the stops to get him across to Abbey Road for an evening of smooth tunes and of course a live performance. The resourceful Mr McKnight also managed to draft in a gospel choir for Boy George's set, due to begin any time now. What an absolute trooper!
