Natalia V is working that Fendi something rotten in our final shot of the day (here somewhat blurily captured not only in real life, but also via one of our streaming cameras). Again, these poses are more potential candidates for prime position on the cover of British Vogue's February 2010 issue - but you'll have to wait until next year to find out exactly which one will finally be chosen. Our Fashion Revolution live stream has now finished, but we have more shoots lined up throughout November and December - including shoots with Jason Evans, supermodel Raquel Zimmermann and Nick Knight's own twenty-day 'residency' throughout December. Hi there.Just wanted to say a big THANKYOU to Nick and team, and of coarse Natalia (my god is she stunning!), for the great two-day shoot. The live coverage was great, with excellent multi angles, and nice twittering, though Id always like more monitor coverage to see whats actually been shot...but thats just me being greedy I guess.
So, many thanks to everyone for brightening up a couple of rainy days! Are we going to see the Lady Ga Ga shoot?? Perleeze! Always an admirer. Richard

Yes she is stunning and hard working too.
I think we are getting there.The live broadcast like any other form of communication has to be learnt and there is always room for improvement.We tried out a new way of streaming the shoot on the Vogue sittings and I think it was much better,sadly also much more expensive.
I am with Lady Gaga tomorrow and i will see what can be revealed at this stage, probably not as much as for other projects, but I am talking to her about an interactive audience participation project, but lets see how it goes.I will keep you posted.

I had the chance of watching this shot live at Somerset House, and it was amazing how much energy transpired even through a semi-transparent mirror... It was really an experience, and a very educative one as well. BTW, it would even have been better if the audience could hear what is going on in the studio.

I am very pleased you enjoyed the expierence, so did I.
I have been talking about putting speakers to broadcast the sound outside the studio space, like most things it just comes down to money.
There are some great shoots planned into the live studio space with amazing image makers and film makers, and I am currently planning the 100 portraits project.That should be shooting every day from the 1st of December to the 22nd of December! .I was going to say I hope to see you there, but from the inside of the live studio space the two way mirrors mean all we can see is our own reflections, although some ingenious people were holding there blackberries flat against the mirror and passing on their thoughts that way.

The two-way mirrors for the live shoot were a bit of a bummer though. I don't know why I expected to be actually let into the studio on a Vogue cover shoot - lots of money and precious time at stake, I suppose, and it was actually pretty minimal and sedate in comparisson to the stuff on show at the exhibition. What I did gain from the experience was seeing your focused interaction with Natalia, framed by the pentagon of the flash rig, which combined with her ability to switch on that energy that channels something beyond the person to create something iconic. A bit like peeking into the inner sanctum of a contemporary religion. Pretty cool.

Just to say, thank you for letting me see through the looking glass and the opportunity to shoot you and Natalia during the live shoot. She is a fantastic model with a sweet, natural generous nature and your concepts. lighting were sublime. I appreciate what you are doing breaking the bounds with your open approach to fashion image making. Your collaborations often interest me. Maybe it's a really dumb question, Nick - but: A mere technicality: I noticed that your model was moving back and forth quite a bit - and quite quickly. As the camera was mounted on the tripod - how did you keep her in focus? Constantly refocussing? Or just a lot of depth of field?

This was taken on that day from the other side of the double mirror - perhaps this could be a suitable cover if the pictures don't turn out..
