Celebrating the extraordinary legacy of the equally extraordinary Leigh Bowery, 'Guiser' brings together previously unseen footage of Bowery during a shoot by Nick Knight, set against a soundtrack of unreleased material by Bowery's band Minty, in a series of films as unique as the performance artist himself. Essays and illustrations by Bowery's contemporaries explore his ongoing impact.

Competition Winners
With four Nick Knight prints of Leigh Bowery at stake, SHOWstudio challenged viewers to send in images of themselves, dressed in extraordinary costumes honouring the legacy of the great cultural iconoclast himself.
From October-November 2004 SHOWstudio accepted entries wild and varied for this unique Guiser give-away competition. Stylist and judge Simon Foxton trawled the imagery to find the four winning entries featured here.
