SOFT FURNISHINGS: Final Day Films from The Erotic House

If the latest additions to our Soft Furnishings project seems somewhat unfamiliar, it's because our latest batch of films come from the action on Thursday after our live stream had officially ended, and where Nick Knight's lens lingered over Gideon Ponte's lavish fantasy interiors for Peter Saville's imaginary abode (suitably enough for Wallpaper* magazine). Alongside our cinemtaic scenarios are two futher object analysis films courtesy of Fashion Director Alex Fury, unpicking (metaphorically) the streamlined seams of a Chanel coat-dress and savage nail-studded leather singlet by Gareth Pugh.

SOFT FURNISHINGS: Four Latest Films

As Nick Knight and Peter Saville focus on the post-production aspects of the photographic editorial spreads destined for the upcoming sex-themed issue of Wallpaper*, we've just launched a selection of four films incorporating footage from the three-day Soft Furnishings shoot last month. Alongside three highlights films of three different erotically-charged 'looks', the latest installment also includes an in-depth object analysis with SHOWstudio's Fashion Director Alex Fury. His chosen piece -a crystal grosgrain Marios Schwab dress called-in by stylist Francesca Burns for the shoot- is examined in great detail, revealing the garment's inspirations and fabric choices. Further films will be released early next week.

SOFT FURNISHINGS: The shoot soldiers on...

Our live stream may be complete, but the Soft Furnishings shoot continues into a third day to complete Nick Knight and Peter Saville's erotic editorial story for the July 2009 'Sex' issue of Wallpaper*. SHOWstudio are still on the scene, editing three days of shoot footage into highlight clips that capture each and every erotic scene enacted within the walls of Gideon Ponte's clutch of exquisite and enticing setpieces. Our latest three video highlight have been added to the project, with yet more to come this evening and tomorrow morning to intimately chart this unique fusion of fashion, furniture and fetish.

SOFT FURNISHINGS: Just what is it that makes today's homes so different, so appealing?

Nick Knight and team have shot late into the night to capture the perfect image to close Peter Saville's erotic escapades for Wallpaper* - or at least, a perfectly perverse ending to our Soft Furnishings live stream. For these final shots of our second day shooting, Mariacarla and Alana donned the briefest of briefs alongside Betony Vernon's erotic jewellery for perhaps the most explicit of our scenarios so far. Tomorrow, in a slight change to the current state of play, we'll be updating from the set with Twitter coverage and highlights culled from across this multi-faceted three-day shoot where Peter Saville's erotic fantasies became a very concrete reality! Today, we leave you with our latest feature interviews - with stylist Francesca Burns and our star model Mariacarla Boscono.

SOFT FURNISHINGS: Day II: The Story So Far

We've been on set for just over 14 hours now and we're very close to completing the intended 12 looks for Peter and Nick's 20-page editorial for the upcoming sex-themed issue of Wallpaper*. Today, Gideon Ponte's Erotic House construction has so far formed the backdrop of 8 suggestive scenarios featuring characters including a 'Muscle Man', a Peter Saville-lookalike spotted in a succession of dressing-gowns and the strikingly powerful Mariacarla Boscono.

As well as broadcasting all of live studio action, the SHOWstudio team have been busy releasing yesterday's highlights, revelatory interviews with Peter Saville and Nick Knight and, more recently, footage of today's first look. A perfect example of the standout fashion called-in by stylist Fran Burns, perfectly in-tune with Nick and Peter's vision, this edited short sees model Alana Zimmer wearing Hussein Chalayan's lime and grey body-suit complete with leather breastplate and buttocks.

SOFT FURNISHINGS: Peter Saville Interview & Shoot Highlights

As promised we've just launched our first Soft Furnishings interview, with esteemed graphic designer Peter Saville. Talking to Alexander Fury after yesterday's shoot, Peter speaks at length about his ideas and intentions for the 'Erotic House'. Revealing the shoot's concept is loosely based on his 1990s Mayfair residency The Apartment, he also talks through the shoot's visual references, the interrelation of furniture, fashion and fetish and the 'unusual relationships people have with their homes'. And, just in case you missed any of yesterday's high-octane action, we've also launched our second highlight, revealing out-takes from 'Shot 2' in the 'Seduction Room' featuring Mariacarla and Alana sporting skintight silver Pam Hogg.

SOFT FURNISHINGS: Let Day II Begin!

After a late finish last night, the team are now assembled on set ready for another packed day of shooting for Nick Knight and Peter Saville's Erotic House story for the July issue of Wallpaper*. We have just switched on today's LIVE STREAM which will reveal visual and audio action from the heart of the Gideon Ponte-designed 'House', alongside regular Twitter updates courtesy of the SHOWstudio editorial team.

In addition to our live stream, we will be launching further film highlights incorporating footage from each 'look' alongside interviews with the shoot's main players and in-depth analysis of key fashion pieces. After shooting finished last night, our fashion director Alex Fury managed to secure an interview with Peter Saville and arrived early this morning to film with three cherry-picked A/W pieces: a crystal Marios Schwab dress, a men's Gareth Pugh vest and a Chanel coat with ruffled cuffs. Our film editor Harry Hanrahan will be working around the clock to get these shorts polished for your viewing pleasure, launching Peter's interview and yesterday's second look featuring Mariacarla in vintage fuchsia fur and latex leggings, later this afternoon.

SOFT FURNISHINGS: Today's final frame

As our shoot ploughs on into the night, the action on the Soft Furnishings set takes a harder tone as Alana Zimmer and Mariacarla play doctors and nurses in Gideon Ponte's sterile, surreal white-tiled cube. This is the final shot from our first day of shooting, taking us a third or so of the way through the dozen eroticised scenarios devised by Peter Saville and Nick Knight to grace the pages of July's Wallpaper*. Tomorrow, our live stream is scheduled to kick off at 13:00 GMT, but the highlights of all the scenes of today's shoot will be available for the especially eager to view in the morning - along with our first feature interview with none other than Mr Saville himself.

SOFT FURNISHINGS: Day I at the Erotic House

Proceedings are well underway on day one of our live broadcast of Soft Furnishings - The Erotic House of Peter Saville. We've been streaming live action direct from the studio since noon, but shooting began later than planned -our stellar team headed by Peter Saville and Nick Knight were intent on getting everything just right- and our models arrived on set just after 16:00 BST. Stylist Francesca Burns dressing the Erotic House's 'characters' in a glorious array of Autumn/Winter designs: we've witnessed Mariacarla in a striking red leather Prada coat and our 'debonair male' in a luxurious Tom Ford robe (one of Saville's trademark looks).

If you missed action from earlier today, we've just launched our first 'highlight' film incorporating footage shot during the first shot, featuring Mariacarla in a highly-sought after Yves Saint Laurent leather body-suit. With two more shots left to complete, a couple of interviews to squeeze in and Saville's well-known love of working late into the night, we can guarantee that we're going to be with you for sometime yet.

SOFT FURNISHINGS: Erecting Peter Saville's Erotic House

In the unseasonably cold early hours of this morning Peter Saville's Erotic House began to take shape - with more than a little help from Gideon Ponte and a veritable platoon of assistance. Above are just three examples of the dozen-or-so sets Gideon will be creating during the course of the shoot - to the left, a clinical white tiled cube, black vinyl panels of our 'Seduction' room to the centre, and a rich, blood-flushed crimson corner at far right. At the moment, Francesca Burns and team are rifling through rails to decide on the all-important first look, while Wallpaper*'s Amy Heffernan is painstakingly unpacking cherry-picked classics of contemporary furniture design from their tissue-paper tombs to grace our fast-developing rooms. Later today, Gideon and co will be deconstructing and reconstructing Peter's erotic abode before your very eyes - our live feed is slated to begin early this afternoon, but check back on SHOWstudio or stay rivetted to our Twitter feed to find out exactly when the action will begin.

SOFT FURNISHINGS: Peter Saville's 'Erotic House' LIVE tomorrow!

From 14:00 GMT tomorrow, SHOWstudio will be broadcasting live to expose every intimate detail of Soft Furnishings, a fashion shoot with a difference sprung from the fertile imagination of graphic design legend Peter Saville and captured by Nick Knight for the July 2009 issue of Wallpaper* magazine. Inspired by the distinctly modish fetishisation of contemporary furniture design - and applying this to the sexualisation of an entire environment - Peter Saville has worked with set designer Gideon Ponte to construct an 'Erotic House' of Pop perversity, layering abstract and contrasting colours and textures inspired by Richard Hamilton's collages and Allen Jones' canvases. To people this post-modern dreamhome, Nick Knight and Peter Saville turned to stylist Francesca Burns, Italian model Mariacarla Boscono and Autumn/Winter 2009 fashion from the likes of Chanel, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent and Lanvin, accessorised by the less standard accoutrements of the sexual playroom.

The entire process of creating and documenting Saville's 'Erotic House' can be seen real-time on SHOWstudio.com, with our broadcast streaming live from 13:00 GMT (times subject to change). Shoot highlights will be constantly available, just in case you miss anything, including interviews with mastermind Peter Saville, image-maker Nick Knight and key players Fran Burns, Gideon Ponte and Mariacarla. Alongside all this will sit SHOWstudio's constant Twitter feed and frequent live updates delivered direct from each and every imaginary room of Saville's eroticised abode.

Join us tomorrow when the action is scheduled to kick off...
