In 2007, SHOWstudio partnered with Evian to devise The Replenishing Body, a fun, interactive video installation. Created by Ross Phillips, the installation design was inspired by the fact that the human body is made up of 60% water which is renewed every six weeks, hence a constantly 'replenishing' body. Representing that concept through a visual interactive, in September 2007 visitors to the gallery/boutique Beyond The Valley, London were invited to make a one second video recording of a close-up section of their body using a 25-sction touch-screen video grid. These mini-films were then added to a constantly moving, composite video portrait, the images combining together in unusual and unique fashions and forming one big replenishing body.
