IN CAMERA: Nick Knight: Interview Now Ended

After four hours of non-stop webchat and iChat AV action, Nick has sportingly made his way through a massive selection of your questions. A big sorry to those of you whose questions never made it in and very big thanks to Tomas who bravely took up the challenge to chat to Nick 'one-to-one' on the iChat!!

IN CAMERA: Nick Knight: The Arrival

Nick Knight has just arrived in the studio. Final preparations - iChat tests, refreshments, toilet stops- are being carried out by the team ahead of the live IN CAMERA interview 16:00 UK TIME start time. Meanwhile, you can still submit any questions you have right up until the end of the interview and view a selection of Nick's key photographic works in the image gallery. Stay tuned.

IN CAMERA: Nick Knight: iChat open

I've just opened up the SHOWstudio iChat account so we are now ready to take your requests for a one to one chat with Nick later. See below for more detailed instructions. It is also my pleasure to inform you that the project page is open for business, which means you can browse through a gallery of Nicks images while you are waiting for his interview to start. Good job Paul.

IN CAMERA: Nick Knight: iChat with Nick Knight tomorrow

As part of Nick's interview tomorrow we will be allowing our viewers to chat with Nick using Apple's iChat software. So if you are on a mac and have a camera and microphone then keep reading to find out how to get involved.

The first thing to do is add SHOWstudio as a buddy in iChat. This is an AIM screen name, not a .mac account.

The SHOWstudio acccount will be taking requests from 10:30 (BST) on the 22nd of May. Please log in to iChat and contact us (SHOWstudio). We will then add you as a buddy and ask you to make sure you are online between 17:00 (BST) and 18:00 (BST). Slots to talk with Nick will be organised on a first come first served basis. We will not be accepting text chats so make sure you have a video camera and microphone before you sign up. An Apple iSight camera is ideal for this, of course. When your time comes we will request a video chat with you and you will have to accept this invitation. You will then have a certain amount of time to chat with Nick before the next person in the list is contacted and they are given their time. We will repeat this until Nick has run out of time or we run out of people.

We will not be accepting any more iChat requests after 15:30 (BST) so if you want to get your chance to talk with Nick one to one then please make sure you have signed up before then.

Any problems, you know where to reach us.

IN CAMERA: Nick Knight: Interview Date and Time

We're currently wading through your countless questions for Nick and enjoying every surreal and excitable one of them! Of course, you have a chance to submit new ones right up until Nick takes his seat -at 16:00hrs UK time on Tuesday 23rd- and throughout his live interview. We anticipate a running time of approximately two hours: one and a half for questions submitted and then in a special addition to the traditional IN CAMERA format, we will be using iChat AV to take your one-to-one questions for the final thirty minutes (so, at last, we get to see what you all look like!). More of this later.
