Glaswegian duo littlewhitehead take their inspiration from their city’s working class and post-industrial culture. Their darkly humorous sculptures provocatively explore the phenomenon of violence as an increasingly normalised means to identity and community. Each work is a black comedy that elicits feelings of alarm or discomfort, where images that we expect to see in the mass media or in films are brought unflinchingly into our physical world.
