'Nailed', a short film by Nick Knight in collaboration with Marian Newman, propels the exhibition with its visually eye-catching imagery. Nail artist Marian Newman, known for her work for Knight's shoots for Dior, Lancome, and Vogue, has been creating nails for numerous editorial covers as well as for shows for top fashion houses. The short film is a nail-biting, smoke induced portrayal of the glamourised visions that can be associated with cafe culture, enhanced with a soundtrack that busily stimulates the sound of guests enjoying and engaging in conservation as they enjoy coffee at our Bruton Place headquarters.
