Rebecca and Mike, a two-part London-based creative design team, analyse aspects of human cognition, behaviour, culture and experience in order to produce visual communication. Defying the boundaries of graphic design and product, their practice of dropping methods and techniques from cognitive science and statistics into their designs reveals a new approach to the depiction of natural phenomena. Their use of design clarifies popular issues and provokes questions regarding innate knowledge of human culture and experience, all the while surprising and delighting viewers with visuals.
