Exhibited as a sound installation as part of 'The Cafe', we hear what feels like a love letter being read from the clamour of a cafe. This letter, haltingly translated from French into English, depicts the romanticised connotations associated with cafe culture, while also creating  a soundtrack to the exhibition. Listening to the piece provokes a ghostly desire to reconnect with the past and the history of the letter, which was actually written in the 1970s from the artist Jean Tinguely to curator Pontus Hulten.
