I am currently studying hard in my final year of Fashion Photography degree in Southampton. My ambition is to be the best fashion photographer ever (even better than Nick).
I have interned at SHOWstudio (thank you Penny). It was awesome to be able to work with industry professionals I have so much respect for. During this time I gained copious amounts of inspiration for my own work. I also attended Fashion Week which was certainly a positive experience (thank you again Penny). Oh yeah... I made an ass of myself in front of Nick (nice going huh - I only want to assist him LOL).
My interests and goals are related completely to my success as a fashion photographer. However I also have an undeniable attraction to graphic design and multimedia presentation. Having worked relentlessly through my school days, in my spare time, in the design (CAD) field I enjoy this aspect of the creative industry also. I have also recently, after interning at SHOWstudio, began experimenting with film.
Nick's work, and the concept of SHOWstudio, was the initial spark for me to purse fashion photography as a career. I was never completely satisfied by my work with computers and networking, which I had previously pursued before college. I found the visual aspect of photography far more interesting and spent most of my college days appearing truant from lack of attending registration, in stead spending morning, day and night in the dark room and studio.
