Kanye wore a burgundy velvety hoodie, Gigi went incognito as a kids TV cartoon character, a guy with over 500,000 Instagram followers wore a bright blue sweater with a very happy skipping teddy bear on it (his name is Lucky Blue Smith, the guy not the teddy), a guest brought a doll version of himself and I’m sure I saw someone walk in dressed as a cow but right now I’m doubting myself. It’s all in a day’s work for Jeremy Scott though!
Lemons and hearts and pink little pigs and bunnies and teddies, big flowers and the most colourful harlequin pattern this clown has ever laid eyes on… all patched together on short little dresses with white frilly collars and lace trims over colourful tights and patent white Mary-Janes – it was as if your favourite pyjamas, bed linen and quilt from your childhood bedroom grew up and became a Jeremy Scott collection. Cropped frilly tops were teamed with quilted Sixties miniskirts and coats were either plasticised and shiny like a belted tight trench in bright plaid or teddy-bear furry in powdery pastels. Jeremy himself walked out wearing a bad wolf sweater, of course. He’s a softie, really.
