Live Review: Maison Margiela Artisanal A/W 19 Haute Couture

published on 3 July 2019

Live from Paris, fashion editor Georgina Evans reviews the Maison Margiela Artisanal A/W 19 show. Evans notes the effect of the set, created by British artist Katerina Jebb, and the collection’s focus on tailoring. She examines the ways in which John Galliano’s experience in equine therapy has manifested in this collection, and finishes by considering that, although very different from the frenetic S/S 19 show, this collection remains true to the creative director’s vision.
