Chalayan started with what looked to be a slept in white bed projected as the background to the runway. It was the first image of a movie reel running the length of the show flashing from linen, to rolling hills, to someone rolling up a sleeve, to a cauliflower, to a rainfall of trash and a flapping window sill. The clothes came out in sync--or out of sync-with these pictures. The first looks were riffs on minimal urban clothes like a denim shirt dress or preppy pastel striped tennis whites.
While the finale dresses were shimmering metallic prints or patterned like marble stone, the last model in a full on tinfoil wig. Straw hats with vinyl visors in neon colors were worn throughout the collection. If the girls looked up and out they'd see the world in a shaded sort of way.
