The blue marbleized solar power panels of the glossy invitation looked quite cool reflecting the ornamental ceiling of the Palais Royale, a tricolor flag flying overhead. Wind turbines were spinning throughout the space and the usual mob was outside and inside. Then the show started. The Chanel atelier oysters were rather productive this season, irritated to create monstrous pearls, some in silver like those worn as necklaces or luminous white like those stitched as polka dots all over the first looks. There was something for every editor and buyer, including a bag with hula hoop straps and hats encircled by extra Lurex brims (easier to carry this way.) Multi color explosion pants were charmingly Pierrot and the finale lattice garden looks dreamy, super Chanel.
