Live Review: Louis Vuitton S/S 20 Womenswear

published on 1 October 2019

Live from Paris, fashion editor Georgina Evans reviews the Louis Vuitton S/S 20 womenswear show with content editor Calum Knight. Evans discusses the stripped back set made from sustainably sourced pinewood in the Cour Carrée of the Louvre, the floor-to-ceiling screen which played British artist Sophie’s 2017 music video “It’s Okay To Cry” and the Art Nouveau and the Belle Époque references. Knight notes on the collections approachability for a younger consumer, however, he felt that there is a disconnect between Sophie’s music video and the collection as a whole.
