Annabelle Neilson

Annabelle Neilson (1969-2018) was a British model and author. She became a muse and close friend to the late designer Lee Alexander McQueen after having been introduced to each other in 1993 by fashion stylist and editor, Isabella Blow. Neilson went on to walk in his infamous Dante show (A/W 96) and became a great inspiration for many of his designs including the Joan collection (A/W 98), which he dedicated to her.

Neilson participated in many charity events, including racing across the Himalayas, training for a horseback race and modelling in the Fashion For Relief runway show in 2011 and 2015. She is also known for having published the children's book series The Me Me Me's, which she wrote to give children a tool to understand and express their own emotions. Her work on the books were featured in the reality television show Ladies of London, in which she starred for two seasons.

Annabelle Neilson passed away in 2018.
