Astrid Andersen

Fashion Designer

Astrid Andersen is a Danish menswear designer. In 2010 Andersen graduated from the MA Fashion Menswear course at the Royal College of Art, with her graduate collection being styled by Simon Foxton. Andersen was a finalist at the ninth International Talent Support competition, and nominated as part of Vogue Italia's Talent 2010. She went on to win the Brioni Creativity and Innovation Award and the River Island MA Student Bursary Award, gaining the opportunity to design three looks for the high street retailer. 

In 2011, Andersen held her first independent show in Copenhagen, and was also awarded a place in London's Fashion East menswear installations for A/W 11. She was then invited to show in the MAN showcase for A/W 12, S/S 13 and A/W 13.

Andersen continues to design and manufacture her collections in her Copenhagen studio before showing them in London.
